Individuals named Chris seem to dominate the acting community, but the question is: Which one is the best?

Chris Pratt

Son-in-law to Arnold Schwarzenegger and star of Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” Chris Pratt is truly an intriguing individual.

Pratt is known for both his action films and his sense of humor. His humor is clear in his role as the clueless Andy Dwyer, but also shines through in “Guardians of the Galaxy,” where he embodies the role of Peter Quill/Star Lord, a human living in space with a die hard love and respect for Kevin Bacon.

Most movie watchers might also know him from his role as Owen Grady, the raptor trainer, in “Jurassic World,” Fletcher Flemson in the romantic comedy “Bride Wars” or perhaps they recognize his voice in the 2020 Disney film, “Onward.”

As previously mentioned, Pratt is the son-in-law of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Pratt married Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019, and have since welcomed two children.

Pratt was previously married to actress Anna Ferris, and together they had one son.

Chris Pine

This “Star Trek” actor is often forgotten among the Chrises, but he too is in the running for best Chris.

Chris Pine is most widely known for his role as Jim Kirk in the “Star Trek” movie series that began in 2009, but is also in a wide selection of films.

Pine’s film discography includes, “The Princess Diaries 2,”  “Wonder Woman” (2017), “Into the Woods,” “Just my Luck” and “Don’t Worry Darling.”

Pine has played in a number of different genres such as, romantic comedies, action, musicals and thriller/mystery films. It is exciting to see what he will do next.

Chris Evans

Chris Evans, Captain America himself, is one Chris everyone should know.

Evans first starred as Captain America in 2011 and has since reprised the role many times throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, his time as Captain America should not be the only thing he is known for.

Evans is a truly versatile actor, through the many film genres he has been a part of he has played each role perfectly.

Whether it be the tortured uncle in “gifted,” the voice of Buzz in “Lightyear,” Johnny Storm in “Fantastic Four” or as Nick Vaughn in “Before You Go,” a romance movie that he also directed, Evans can do it all.

Evans has earned his respect as an actor and proven himself to be more than just one role.

Chris Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth is arguably one of the more popular Chrises since he plays Thor, son of Odin, in Marvel’s “Thor” and reprises his role through much of the MCU.

What a lot of viewers might not realize is, Hemsworth has a role in the 2009 “Star Trek” film as well. Fans can see him in the first few minutes of the action film, as he plays George Samuel Kirk Sr., the man who was captain of his ship for only a few minutes as he sacrificed himself to save his wife, newborn son, and crew from the Romulan.

Hemsworth also stars in the National Geographic documentary “Limitless,” (Disney+) where the actor is seen going through a set of difficult trials to test his mind and body in a search for longevity.

The documentary consists of six episodes, each one testing a different part of the body. What starts out as a great empowering series, comes to a heartbreaking halt as the 39-year old actor learns more about himself.

Episode five, “Memory,” Hemsworth does a series of genetic testing and learns that he carries now one, but two copies of the APOE4 gene, meaning he is at a severely increased risk of Alzheimer’s disease.

Roughly one fourth of the population has at least one copy of the APOE4 gene, but only 2% have two copies, according to the National Institutes of Health

No matter how hard Hemsworth tries to keep his body in peak conduction, there is little he can do to protect his mind.

“The idea that I won’t be able to remember the life I’ve experienced, or my wife, or my kids. This is probably my biggest fear,” Hemsworth said in the documentary.
