Get your popcorn money and take a trip down to your local theaters. Whether you’re a crime lover, music lover or a fan of story retellings, the movies have something for everyone.

“Priscilla”

Austin Butler gave an astounding performance in “Elvis,” which was released last year. A year later, Cailee Spaeny plays Priscilla in a movie by the same name.

The film tells the story of Priscilla Presley and her life with Elvis. Sofia Coppola is the director of this A24 movie and is aiming to shed light on unknown details on the Presleys’ first meeting, marriage and divorce. The story is told through Priscilla’s eyes which will offer a new and perhaps surprising perspective for people who are fans of late icon Elvis.

The film releases in theaters on Nov. 3.

“The Marsh King’s Daughter”

For a sinister, heart pounding drama, “The Marsh King’s Daughter” will also be releasing in theaters on Nov. 3.

Based on the novel of the same name by Karen Dionne, the film tells the story of Helena Pelletier (Daisy Ridley) as she tries to keep her family safe after her convicted father escaped prison. Pelletier was kidnapped by her father for 12 years and held captive in the woods. The trailer depicts the haunting undertones the movie is going to express by the daunting music, as well as the primal instinct of survival.

“What Happened at 625 River Road”

Based on a true, unsolved murder, the movie “What Happened at 625 River Road” follows two women who end up getting murdered at their rental home in New York.

The real murders happened in 2015, eight years ago. The mysterious happenings surrounding their deaths are depicted in the film, as well as physiological, thriller aspects.

For anyone who is a fan of true crime and wants to learn of a lesser known story, check out “What Happened at 625 River Road,” which releases in select theaters on Nov. 2.
