“This costume I use for working in the haunted corn maze at Jonamac orchard. This whole costume is handcrafted from materials from Goodwill and the mask is from spirit Halloween. I took time, and I added a bunch of different things such as fake blood, straw from a hula skirt, dirt, destroying the fabric, burlap, and twine. The boots I also Thrifted from Goodwill, and I got them all gross and dirty, and they work perfect for following people in the maze. This is my favorite costume I’ve ever worn, and I will continue to wear this costume probably for the next few years. Next year plan on using an ear tag from a real farm just to give some extra decoration for the mask. In this costume to stay in character, I do not speak at all I just use a dog toy to honk at people. I think I’ve done pretty well scaring people this year so far and I’m so excited for the years to come. I know my costume may not be cute but I hope it’s scary. Happy Halloween.”

“I attended a Barbie themed Halloween party where all guests dressed as different versions of Barbie. For my costume, I chose to dress as mermaid barbie! 🧜🏽♀️ ”

“Costume has been named “Hype Beast” by popular vote, great in dark and misty environments. kind of expensive, the EL Wires had to manually weaved through each article of clothing and sewn-into the hood and jacket by hand. pretty stable, has flashing options and the gloves are color customizable. Managing the battery boxes is a headache though, especially trying to look for them through the blackout mesh.”

“My costume this year is Papa Emeritus IV (from swedish metal band Ghost) as the Phantom of the Opera. I was inspired by Ghost covering “Phantom of the Opera” by The Rolling Stones as part of their most recent EP “Phantomime”. Ghost has been influential on me recent and has help me through dark times. I put a lot of time into this costume as Halloween is my favorite holiday so I put my heart and soul into it every year.”

“It is a cosplay of my character in Dungeons and dragons. It can also double as a warrior costume.”
