DeKALB – Dance Dimension will be holding its third annual “Tinsel an’ Tutu” event at the start of December. 

The event is a fundraiser aimed for financially assisting Dimensions Youth Ballet, whose goal is to provide training for dancers striving for a professional career and further performance opportunities in locations in the DeKalb area. 

Dancers from the Dimensions Dance Academy will be performing in the windows of several businesses on Friday, Dec. 1 in the DeKalb area. 

The 15 businesses that will have dancers during the event include Dimensions Dance Academy, Willrett Flower Company, Cracker Jax, Create Health Mobility Clinic, Jubilee Arisans, Robin’s Nest Bookshoppe, Kid Stuff, Ducky’s Formal Wear, Aurora Music Company, Canvas Hair Studio, Byers Brewing Company Found, Stage left by Hometown Sports Bar and Grill, The Herbal Oracle and Tapa La luna. 

The businesses helping with the activities include Found, Robin’s Nest, KS Displays, Create Health Mobility Clinic and the Aurora Music Company. They will be providing things like refreshments, sweet treats, and live music as well as face painting and decorations. 

Participating businesses are subject to change.
