Riding a five-game win streak, NIU men’s basketball (5-1) travels Monday to Northwestern to take on the Wildcats (4-1). Led by a career-high 34 points from junior guard David Coit, the Huskies took down DePaul University 89-79 Saturday.

NIU women’s basketball (3-3) looks to build on a three-game win streak after leaving the November Classico undefeated. The Huskies found their first win of the season with a 77-60 victory against Lindenwood University. In the November Classico, NIU beat Radford University 72-55 and Indiana State University 67-62.
The Huskies’ next game is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Madison, Wisconsin, against the University of Wisconsin-Madison (4-2). At 1 p.m. Sunday, NIU will head to Edwardsville to face off against Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (1-6).
WRESTLING
Saturday, Dec. 2: at Cougar Clash, 10 a.m.

After a 12-day Thanksgiving break, NIU wrestling (3-1) will travel Saturday to Edwardsville for the Cougar Clash tournament. In its most recent contest at the Boilermakers Duals on Nov. 19, NIU ended with a 1-1 team record and saw three wrestlers go undefeated.

NIU Hockey returns from Thanksgiving break after collecting its first win of the season on Nov. 17 against Alabama. The Huskies have four games remaining this semester, starting with a home-and-home against No. 11 ranked Purdue Northwest. The Pride enter the weekend on a five-game winning streak, most recently defeating No. 14 Indiana Tech by a final score of 6-4.
