DeKALB– Due to extreme weather conditions, NIU’s campus will be virtual from 8 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Friday, according to an NIU weather announcement.
This is the second closure of the week at the university. NIU moved completely virtual on Tuesday due to snowfall and operations went back to normal Wednesday.
While the Holmes Student Center and Peters Campus life building are closed, their services are still available virtually for students.
Residence halls will still be unlocked for students to move in at 4 p.m. Friday.
