I would like to thank the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., BROTHERS, CAB, Delta Sigma Theta, Sigma Gamma Rho, Zeta Phi Beta, Black Interhall Council, Black Student Union, SHAC, SISTERS and all other student organizations for finally joining forces to address an unmet need on campus.

Every weekend, many students journey home or to other schools for cultural enrichment and entertainment. However, this weekend, the above noted organizations have given students a reason to stay here at NIU.

Luckily, the above noted organizations have finally recognized their potential by organizing the Omega Carnival Weekend. Hopefully, all students found time in their busy schedules (yeah right!) this weekend, to participate in this festive, well-overdue occasion.
