DeKALB – Pi Sigma Epsilon will host its Career Olympics for students to sharpen their skills for the workforce.
Beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Barsema Hall, five teams of four will compete in different events including resume grading, elevator pitch, mock phone interview and mock in-person interview.
Pi Sigma Epsilon is a fraternity that focuses on marketing, sales and management. They opened up this event to all NIU students.
The event is meant to provide networking opportunities along with a supportive environment for practice, questions and mutual learning. Pi Sigma Epsilon will collaborate with sponsors who will help with the event.
Food will be catered by Potbelly for the event.
The top three individual scorers with the highest overall score will earn a cash prize. There will also be awards given out and participants will earn points based on their performance.
The event is Passport approved for students who need Passport credit.
