Near NIU’s campus, there are plenty of places of worship for all religions.
CHRISTIANITY
For Christian students, there are several student organizations you can join, such as Cru.
When looking for churches, Baptist Campus Ministry, 449 Normal Road, and the Newman Catholic Student Center, 512 Normal Road, are very close to campus.
Slightly further away from campus is Westminster Presbyterian Church, 830 N. Annie Glidden Road, and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 900 Normal Road.
ISLAM
Muslim students can join the Muslim Student Association. Further information and contacts can be found on HuskieHub.
The IQRA Dawah Center, 401 Normal Road, is another place Muslims can come together. The Islamic Center of DeKalb, 801 Normal Road, also offers programs and services for students.
JUDAISM
Those practicing Judaism can visit Congregation Beth Shalom in person or via Zoom. The synagogue is located at 820 Russell Road.

Those affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints can join the Latter-Day Saint Student Association.
For worship services, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is located in Sycamore at 675 Fox Ave.
