Owls lose trees

This school never ceases to amuse me. It’s nice to see that the Star is so concerned about the great horned owls in front of Faraday that you ran an article entitled “Curious students could endanger owls.”

That’s fine and good, but did the Star think about how the owls will be endangered as soon as all of the trees that they are nesting in get cut down?

Yes, folks, as soon as Gov. Edgar releases the money for Faraday II, every one of those trees (17 or so) to the West of the current Faraday is going to be cut down quicker than you can say willow.

I suppose that I shouldn’t worry too much. They will probably get cut down during the summer when no one will be around to see them fall.
