Now that the weather has warmed, NIU’s lacrosse club can begin preparation for its outdoor spring season.

After an indoor victory over Illinois March 2, the club hopes its success will continue in its outdoor season.

NIU’s schedule will feature a number of new opponents which include: Wright Air Force Base, Gus Davis Adolphus and St. Thomas of Minnesota.

“It’s always great to play new teams to see how you measure up,” Coach Jim Corbett said. “With more teams to play, especially the tougher teams, you can see how good you really are. It’s fun to go up against an unknown, to prove yourself.”
