Huskie Den and Fatty’s both have similar food options and are popular spots for students. However, it’s up to personal preference as to which one students prefer most.
NIU students provided their thoughts on whether they prefer the Huskie Den or Fatty’s.
Alex Hager, a first-year meteorology major, likes the pizza dough bites from Fatty’s.
Q: “Which one is better, Fatty’s or the Huskie Den?”
A: “I like Fatty’s the best because I really like their pizza dough bites that they have. They’re like really good.”
Emily Hernandez, a first-year accountancy major, likes the convenience the Huskie Den provides.
Q: “Which one is better, Fatty’s or the Huskie Den?”
A: “The Huskie Den, because the food is good and it’s convenient because it’s on campus.”
Chase Pemble, a first-year meteorology major, likes the environment of Fatty’s.
Q: “Which one is better, Fatty’s or the Huskie Den?”
A: “I would probably have to say Fatty’s just because the environment is really cool, they got really good food and just really nice, great people there that are there to serve you.”
Amanda McNamara, a first-year special education teaching major, prefers Huskie Den over Fatty’s.
Q: “Which one is better, Fatty’s or the Huskie Den?”
A: “I’d say the Huskie Den because the food has been good from what I’ve had. And on top of that, it’s already on campus so you don’t have to travel anywhere.”
