NIU’s students may participate in the country’s largest intramural volleyball program this year as Certs/Trident SpikeFest ‘91 makes its debut on campus.

For an inaugural season, an estimated 150,000 students at 600 colleges and universities are expected to participate.

Certs/Trident SpikeFest ‘91 is scheduled for Friday. Students interested in registering a team should contact: The Office of Campus Recreation by Tuesday.

In the Spring, the winning team from each on-campus tournament will advance to one of 16 Regional Festivals with other winning teams from the area to determine Regional Champions. Winning teams will receive prizes.
