Poll: What restaurant would you add on campus

NIU offers different restaurants on campus such as Qdoba, Einstein Bros. Bagels and Starbucks. Although students may enjoy these alternatives to the dining halls, students may wish that there were other restaurant options on campus.

What restaurant would you add on campus if given the option?

CHICK-FIL-A

Chick-Fil-A may be one of the most popular places among people, particularly college students. Chick-Fil-A offers chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets along with their decadent waffle fries. For the health-conscious people, Chick-Fil-A offers salads as well. Students can view the full menu on the website.

PANDA EXPRESS

Panda Express is a popular Chinese restaurant where people are able to get a variety of different options. Some options people can get are bowls, plates or a bigger plate with some options such as chow mein and teriyaki chicken. Panda Express is also an affordable option for people who are on a budget, with a plate starting at $10.10. Students can view the full menu on their website.

PANERA BREAD

Panera offers different kinds of sandwiches, including vegetarian options. Panera also offers customizable options, where students can either add or take away ingredients to their sandwich. The restaurant’s “you pick two” can be affordable for students who want more than one menu item. Panera also offers bakery items such as bagels and cookies. Panera’s full menu is on their website.

TACO BELL

Taco Bell is also another great option, due to its wide variety of Mexican food ranging from quesadillas to tacos. Taco Bell has affordable options for students with their Cravings Value Menu. Taco Bell also has vegetarian options. Students can find Taco Bell’s full menu on its website.

OTHER

There are many other great options for restaurants that should be on campus. Ranging from McDonalds to Popeyes, having an array of food options on campus could be more convenient and engaging for students.
