DeKALB – Adults between the ages of 18 and 25 interested in connecting with the community and interacting with local leaders have an opportunity to do so at the DeKalb County History Center’s Young Professional Advisory Committee general information meeting.
The meeting, which will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 1 at 1730 N. Main St., will cover the History Center’s 2026 plans as well as how younger voices have impacted the upcoming exhibit “We the People…of DeKalb County.”
The committee seeks to provide a younger demographic with opportunities to develop leadership skills, collaborate with peers and make an impact on local history projects.
“The History Center is looking for input on ways to connect in meaningful ways with younger adults in DeKalb County,” said the History Center’s Executive Director Michelle Donahoe via a press release.
