This is in response to the “Greedy Students” letter on Dec. 5.

“For What It’s Worth,” Darlene Hass, your opinion is meaningless and exaggerated. I really think you should sit down and relax for a minute. Stop and think about what this Huskie Weekender section is all about.

This is simply a student opinion section where someone gets to have his or her picture in the paper and say a few words. In fact, the responses are often made in jest.

It’s all in good, clean fun and I think you need to realize that. I don’t know Jeri Olsen or Joanne Jamiolkowski, but I don’t agree with your attempt to dampen others’ Christmas spirit.

The bottom line is, you’ve taken this much too seriously. So lie down and take a pill Scrooge, and I hope you don’t get anything for Christmas.
