Here we go again, time to make front page news of three football players involved in a fight.

Personally,I thought that Police Beat covered the incident well enough. Obviously that wasn’t enough for some people.

I’m curious to see just how long this will make front page news. I guess this wouldn’t bother me as much as if it were three students involved, but its not, it’s three “football players.”

If three students not on athletic teams were involved in this incident it would have been in Police Beat once and that’s it!

But wait, my favorite part of the article was the statistics: Osteen, 6’2, 265, sophomore, benches 375, hey that’s really relevant to the situation.

That’s not all, Schraeder holds the third longest run from scrimmage in NIU’s history, another important clue in this case.

This article makes it look like these guys were so much bigger and stronger and yes faster, they must have started it, those bullies!

Give me a break, can we have some statistic on Marconi and Doyle, like how fast they tie their shoes and put on their jackets? That might help clarify this, don’t you think?
