Archaeologist lecture

Alan Millard, an archaeologist and biblical scholar, will be the featured graduate colloquim speaker at 8:30 tonight in the Visual Arts Building Room 102.

Millard’s lecture titled “Solomon’s Reign in the Light of Archaeology” will present the latest views on the chronology and the archaeology of King Solomon’s reign as related to Jerusalem and to the celebrated “Temple.”

He currently serves on the Councils of the British Schools of Archaeology in Amman, Iraq, and Jerusalem.

Support group meets

A support group for adults who have experienced hearing loss will meet Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. at the NIU Speech and Hearing Clinic.

The group, which will meet monthly, is for all interested individuals, including family and friends and will discuss issues associated with hearing impairment. The meeting is free and open to the public.
