A one-day seminar presented by NIU and titled “How to Write a Marketing Plan” will be held Dec. 14 at the Hyatt Regency in Schaumburg.

The sessions will be presented by marketing professor Cary Kizilbash. Past participants include Ameritech Services Inc., Beatrice Corp., Kraft Inc., Sandstrom Corp., the Chicago Tribune and Illinois Bell.

The program fee is $295 per person which includes materials, refreshment breaks and certificates of completion.

Successful drive

Since the Kishwaukee Community Hospital started its United Way Drive, hospital employees have reached 91 percent of the goal.

With two weeks left in the drive chairpersons Jos Dorrestein and Carla Antrobus said they are confident the campaign will exceed its $8,500 goal.
