Campaign issues: work with state representatives to get an extension of the rail line, develop a civic center in DeKalb and make sure the student always comes first.Proposed increased efforts by county offices to recycle paper and advocates alternative fuels such as natural gas.

Comments: “Being a student is more important than a label. I may be studying politics but more importantly I’m interacting with people,” he said. “What I say is what I do. People who care are not just saying words. They back up what they say.”
