Whether you’re walking to work, driving or cleaning up, here is one thing that helps the time pass faster: a good podcast.
Here are my top five podcasts that I listen to quite frequently and would recommend. Below you can find podcasts ranging from pop culture and reality TV to educational recaps and mental health discussions.
- “Chicks in the Office”
“Chicks in the Office” is a podcast through Barstool Sports that started in July 2018. The podcast focuses on pop culture and entertainment. Hosts Francesca “Fran” Mariano and Maria “Ria” Ciuffo talk about topics such as recaps of reality TV shows, pop culture trends and entertainment news.
As of Monday, their most recent podcast episode included an interview with Lisa Rinna, actress and Real Housewife. The interview was primarily about the reality tv show “The Traitors,” which is a murder mystery game show featuring celebrities. “The Traitors” just ended its fourth season on Feb. 26 where Rinna was a contestant.
Episodes are available on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Episodes are released every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, according to Instagram.
- “TED Talks Daily”
For a way to stay updated with current events, “TED Talks Daily” is an educational podcast hosted by journalist Elise Hu. The podcast features shorter audio versions of the latest TED Talks.
TED Talks cover a variety of topics such as AI, mental health, communication and politics.
As of Monday, the most recent episode was about the recent attack on Iran from the U.S. and Israel. Episodes have been released daily since April 2020 and are available on multiple platforms, with the most popular ones being Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
- “Call Her Daddy”
Currently hosted by media personality Alex Cooper, “Call Her Daddy” is the most-listened to podcast by women and focuses on candid conversations with high profile celebrities and pop culture figures.
When the podcast originally started back in 2018, it was through BarStool Sports and was hosted by Cooper and Sofia Franklyn. However, it has since become a SiriusXM podcast. Back in 2018, “Call Her Daddy” gained attention for its candid and often explicit conversations about relationships and sex.
As of Monday, the most recent episode featured Bethany Joy Lenz who is an actress, best known for acting on “One Tree Hill.” Guests have ranged from Hilary Duff to Dove Cameron.

- “Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain”
“Anything Goes” is a podcast that focuses on whatever is going through influencer Emma Chamberlain’s mind that week. The topics could be anything and everything, ranging from advice, interviews or even random stories from Chamberlain’s life.
As of Monday, the most recent episode was an advice session about finding comfort in yourself. Episodes are available every Thursday and are on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
- “The Squeeze”
Hosted by Taylor Lautner, an actor best known for being in the “Twilight” series, and his wife also named Taylor Lautner, “The Squeeze” focuses on mental health and well-being.
The podcast features different guests who are both celebrities and experts in the mental health field, to provide their perspective on wellness. As of Monday, the most recent episode featured Chelsea Smith, pastor and author, to talk about building a stronger marriage.
