With Saturday’s 426-yard team rushing effort against Murray State, the Huskies find themselves unofficialy atop the NCAA’s team-rushing rankings.
NIU, pending the release of official statistics from the NCAA, leads the country with 2,929 yards in eight games for a 366.1 per game average.
Nebraska follows with 2,543 yards in seven games for a 363.3 per game average, and Army is third with 2,141 yards in six games for a 356.8 average.
Against Murray State, senior quarterback Stacey Robinson lead the rushing attack for the Huskies with 166 rushing yards on 21 carries.
