Take the profit out of selling drugs. That is the only way to divest drug dealers of their malignant power.

We could take a big step in that direction by legalizing drugs and by spending a few million or billion tax dollars on health care services, instead of on ineffective law enforcement weapons and salaries.

Good policemen and innocent bystanders are killed, and the problem only gets worse.

Why not train medics instead of policemen and buy clean hypodermic needles and medicine rather than bullets?

Then drug addicts won’t need to commit crimes to support their habits and we won’t have to finance their capture and imprisonment.
