Burzynski better candidate
October 24, 1990
Republican Brad Burzynski is the best candidateto fill the 76th Representative District. Democratic opponent Bob Tisch is in over his head.
Burzynski is more concerned with making his own impact on the legislature instead of mimicking another legislator. Tisch, however, baited Burzynski and accused him of not being enough like Rep. John Countryman.
Burzynski has six years experience at the DeKalb Farm Bureau, and previous experience on farm bureaus in Clinton and Clark, which indicates he understands a majority of his constituents’ concerns.
Tisch’s experience and knowledge of the legislature is limited because he does not have enough experience outside the educational scope.
Tisch’s campaign is based around a soap box in which he mentions the evils within the state legislature as primary problems.
But if constituents are worried more about their crops than whether state agencies are consolidated enough, then that is what Tisch should focus on.
Burzynski has had some ideas as to how he will accomplish his goals, while Tisch stands tall on his pedestal and spouts vague goals.
Tisch would be a hollow representative. Burzynski should be elected.
