I would like to set the record straight. My opponent in the DeKalb County Clerk and Recorder’s race has on several occasions stated I favor splitting the County Clerk and Recorder’s office into two distinct and separate offices.

I have never stated I favor such a split. It is my position as County Clerk and Recorder I can administer both offices with a higher degree of efficiency and fiscal responsibility.

I look forward to fulfilling the responsibilities of both offices upon my election.
