NIU reports Labor Day office closings

Most NIU offices will be closed during the Labor Day holiday.
Along with University Health Service offices, NIU computer labs will be closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The Huskie Bus Line will run today until 2:15 a.m., but won’t run again until Monday at 7 a.m.
Also, there will be no Northern Star on Monday. The Star will resume publication Tuesday.
A few exceptions to the closings include:
University Police will be on duty during the holiday weekend.
Founders Memorial Library will be closed Monday, but open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m..
The Holmes Student Center building will be open Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 7 a.m. to midnight, but the information desk will be closed.
The Holmes Student Center Bookstore will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., but will be closed Sunday and Monday.
The Huskies Den will be open Saturday from noon to midnight and Sunday and Monday from noon to 11:30 p.m.
The Pow Wow cafeteria will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., but will be closed Sunday and Monday.
The Shapiro Law Library will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to midnight and Monday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m..
The Student Recreation Center will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m., but will be closed Monday.
The city of DeKalb announced that curbside pickup for recyclables and yard waste scheduled for Monday is Tuesday and regularly scheduled Tuesday pickup is Wednesday.
