The Minority Relations Committee of the Student Association stands behind the efforts put forth by the Ban ROTC Immediately Coalition (BRIC). We are outraged by the discriminatory practices of the ROTC program and disappointed by the passive actions taken by the University Council to force students to tolerate blatant discrimination for another two to three years.

We are also disgusted by the violent manner in which BRIC members were man-handled by the University Police. This type of behavior is intolerable, especially at an institution of HIGHER education!
