I would just like to take time out to bring attention to two thoughtless people in the Student Association and their mindless acts.

John Fallon states in the March 26 edition of The Northern Star that his arrest for entering a bar illegally, “has nothing to do with running for SA president.”

Well, John, if you are so hard up to get into a bar and have to conceal your real age, I wonder what you would do in the presidency when things didn’t go your way?

SA Vice President Steve Coloia’s arrest for theft of a parking permit is a joke! It’s incomparable to me to think that a kid in his position would steal a parking permit to “protest what he viewed as a ridiculous situation.”

Steve, is this as creative as you can get to protest the parking situation? Steve further states in the March 28 edition of The Star that “any student who has a car up here will understand.”

I have a car up here but I DON’T understand your logic in stealing a permit. Maybe after a $1,000 fine YOU will understand.

In no way do I want to criticize the honest SA members, but having these two students serve the NIU students’ needs is a total mistake. It’s no wonder there is a credibility problem in the SA.
