The Northern Star Editorial Board hit the nail on the head when you called for more effective leadership by Student Association President Huda Scheidelman.

In my four years at NIU, I have never seen so much confusion within the SA. The SA Executive Board acted inappropriately in its allocation of funds for Farrakhan’s speech and NIU nearly faced a civil suit because of board blunders. This illustrates either ignorance or blatant disregard for the rules on the part of the executives. If you can’t play by the rules, President Scheidelman, then get out of the game!
