Where’s paper?
February 1, 1990
Wouldn’t it be nice to enjoy reading “The Far Side,” the Huskie sports report, and the editorial column of The Northern Star (in that order) before or during your 8 a.m. or 9 a.m. class? Even the 9:30 classes on Tuesday/Thursday would be nice!
We USED to have a good system—early distribution of the paper throughout campus. But now, I can’t find a paper anywhere before 9:30 at times. Even a paper that receives both journalism awards as well as negative feedback should be read and distributed early!
I have pity for all those advertisers who spend good money on ads for less than expected readersip. They probably miss a lot of “lunchtime specials” business.
Let’s get with it, Northern Star! Either change printer companies, as I discovered the case to be, or refund our student fees toward The Northern Star. I pay for the paper, I’d like to read it early.
