If country living is your style then be sure to stop in at Connie’s Country House where the theme is “country elegance,” according to owner Connie Wiley.

This shop at 302 S. Third St. offers many, many country inspired gifts, but the specialties are Amish quilts and flower arrangements, done by Connie herself.

Some of Connie‘ floral decorations can be bought at the shop, but she also does special arrangements for occasions like weddings and showers.

Many beautiful Amish quilts are also on display at the House, but if you want to order one specially be prepared to wait 3 to 6 months for it.

Connie opened her shop in Geneva two years ago. She like the area because she feels it’s a very affluent and charming area. “The merchants go out of their way to give you personal and prompt service,” she adds.
