I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of myself, the football staff and the football team, to express our sincere appreciation for the support and enthusiasm of our student body at the game against Toledo. It was truly exciting for us to see the students getting involved and participating in the game.

We have been working very hard for the past five to turn our program around and make it a class program that all the students, alumni and community can be proud of. Our hard work is beginning to pay off, however, we were missing the support and enthusiasm from everyone. The students finally came through for us. With the enthusiasm that our student body showed at the last home game, we now have the ability to join the ranks of the Big Ten universities in the spirit category. THANK YOU!! Keep up the Huskie spirit. See you at our first home game next season.
