Elect Scheidelman

The future of the NIU Student Association calls for qualified leadership and experience. The SA must regain the ability to meet the needs of the NIU students in a productive and responsive manner. Only one presidential candidate readily displays the qualifications necessary to effectively promote the concerns and viewpoints of the NIU student body. Huda Scheidelman clearly exemplifies competent leadership and sound judgment in a manner that will surely benefit the Student Association, and the organizations and students that it serves.

As executives and executive staff members of the Student Association, we have had ample opportunity to work closely with both Huda and her opponent, Phill Buoscio. We know what it takes to lead, coordinate and motivate this organization. Based upon our experience, we firmly believe that Huda is capable of leading the Student Association to great achievements while promoting the best interests of the student community. Huda’s strong stance regarding the need for improvement and restructuring within the SA has not been viewed favorably by some members of the Executive Board. However, her honest and frank perspective indicates her awareness of the shortcomings of the SA and her intentions to directly address these issues of concern. She will strive to develop the strong student government worthy of the students of NIU.

For 20 years the Student Association has fought for the rights of students, increased student representation within the NIU community and established a prominent and credible voice when dealing with the administration. Huda Scheidelman is the only candidate with the knowledge, background and dedication to lead the Student Association in a positive and progressive direction. She will preserve our rights as students while addressing the key issues of student concern. Vote for Huda Scheidelman for Student Association president April 5 and 6. The students of NIU deserve the best, and she is prepared to deliver.
