A space study committee will hold its final meeting Friday to determine the contents of a proposal recommending better space usage in the Holmes Student Center.

The Student Services and Space Study Committee will meet in the student center’s Heritage Room South at 2 p.m.

The committee will discuss the possible installation of an elevator or stairlift to provide handicapped students access to the lower level of the student center.

Other committee discussions will include possible remodeling projects and a proposed $6.24 million addition to the center to provide additional space for student organizations.

The committee will present their recommendations to James Harder, vice president for business and operations, and Jon Dalton, committee chairman and vice president for student affairs.
