The other night I was walking from the student center to my car, which was parked in the lot by the Wesley Foundation, and I noticed two guys were walking very close behind me. At first, I figured they must be walking to the same lot I was, but after getting closer to my car I realized that this was not so, because when I finally got to my car they stopped beside me and made crude and obscene remarks to me.

Now even though their intent was simply to scare me, my concern is that of safety. Can’t there be some sort of security in or near these parking lots? If something more had come out of this, thank God it didn’t, there would be no way I would have been “safe” from their actions.
