The Faculty Assembly will hold its last meeting of the semester today at 3 p.m. in room 505 of the Holmes Student Center.

An announcement is scheduled to be made concerning a visit by Board of Regents’ Chancellor Roderick Groves next semester, according to the meeting’s agenda.

University Council Executive Secretary Judy Bischoff said the meeting will include committee and subcommittee reports in topics such as summer school, a proposed faculty senate and academic policy.

Bischoff said Provost Kendall Baker will attend the next assembly meeting on Jan. 11 to update the members on his study of promotional salary increases for faculty.

The evaluation of the faculty personnel adviser, Marilyn Skinner, also will take place at today’s meeting.
