Chicago Tribune reporter Rick Pearson will speak of his experiences covering the 1988 presidential campaigns tonight at 8:45 in DuSable Hall room 204A.

Pearson served the Rockford Register Star as head political writer for several years and recently covered the 1988 Democratic and Republican national conventions for that paper.

His speech tonight will address media coverage of the campaigns and is sponsored by the Society of Professional Journalists, Sigma Delta Chi.
