The University Council subcommittee on academic policy will meet Wednesday to continue discussion of possible penalties for more than 100 cases of NIU students’ illegal registration into spring 1988 classes.

The meeting will begin at 2:30 p.m. in room 105 of Lowden Hall.

At their first meeting on Oct. 19, the subcommittee reviewed the NIU Student Judicial Code and other university policies in an effort to determine whether faculty or the NIU Judicial Office has the right to govern academic sanctions in cases of illegal registration.
