A workshop about home-based businesses is scheduled for Saturday in Aurora.

The workshop is intended to provide help for people starting a business and was planned by NIU’s Small Business Development Center and a similar center at Waubonsee Community College.

The session is set for Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Aurora center, room 124.

Diane Robertson, NIU center director, said the workshop will feature Barbara Brabec, nationally recognized home business development specialist.

Brabec is the author of “Homemade Money—the Definitive Guide to Success in A Home Business.”
