Students looking to spread a little Christmas cheer can do so through the Student Association.

SA Public Relations Adviser Tana Titre announced that students may contribute canned and dried food goods for the DeKalb needy through the SA Food Drive.

Students can drop off food donations in any residence hall and the Holmes Student Center through Dec. 9.

Titre said the collected food goods will be distributed to local agencies which will distribute the goods throughout the DeKalb area.

This is the first time the SA has offered a food drive in an attempt to involve the NIU community with food contributions, she said.
