Recent work by Chicago painter Susan Bloch will continue to be on display this weekend through Nov. 12 in the X/S Space at the NIU Art Gallary, 212 W. Superior St., in Chicago.

Regular gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Bloch’s paintings were featured at NIU in 1985 in the Swen Parson Gallery.

Funding for the exhibit has been provided by the NIU School of Art, with additional support from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
