I am writing in response to the article, “Questions of Spirituality, secret recipes of India” in the Oct. 6 issue of The Northern Star.

While I appreciate the article in general, I wish to inform you that I have been misquoted. It has quoted me as saying, “American people are more friendly. I prefer the U.S. to my country.” It is true I said American people are very friendly, but I never said that I prefer the U.S. to my country.
