Since Gretchyn’s column on freshman all I have read are complaints. I think you people are missing the point.

I don’t think Gretchyn is making fun of them as much as with them. We were all freshman at one time and I’m sure all of us have some humorous stories of our misadventures.

Freshmen may come here with awe in their eyes, but this is a big place compared to high school. Gretchyn’s comment about looking up if you get disorientated on campus was great because I know I did it a few times when I first arrived.

As far as I’m concerned Gretchyn is doing a great job and I hope she keeps it up.
