Dear NIU Student Body:

This Saturday, October 1, at 1:05 p.m., Northern Illinois University will play Southwest Missouri State University (Parent’s Day) in a football game at Huskie Stadium. This is one of the most important games we will play this season. We currently are 3-1, and we just came back from two very physical and emotional road games against Wisconsin and Minnesota. It’s very important to get back on track this week.

On behalf of our staff and team, I would like to challenge you to fill Huskie Stadium this Saturday and help us defeat Southwest Missouri. We have one of the best teams in NIU history, and I know you will have something to stand up and cheer about and be proud of. I guarantee you that your presence and support will have an impact on this game.
