August 9, 1988
The decreased rainfall this summer contributed to a reduction in mosquitoes, according to a report submitted to the DeKalb City Council Aug. 8 by Clarke Outdoor Spraying Company Inc.
Gary Boden, DeKalb assistant city manager, said, “There are very few positive things one can say about a drought, but one of them is the mosquito infestation problem has a tendency to abate significantly.”
