I disagree with Dave Tuley on the NCAA Final Four outcome. Arizona “comatose”? C’mon! A team does not go 6-0 against Big Ten teams and 2-0 against the best of the ACC to reach the Final Four just to become comatose. I agree the match-up is a dandy, but disagree that OU will run away with it. I believe Arizona’s smooth, mentally strategic approach will win over the Sooners’ “run and gun” philosophy.

I agree the Duke-Kansas match-up is not as strong as Arizona-OU, but “a weak link”? The only weakness in this link is Kansas, the one-man team (Danny Manning). I disagree that Duke lacks the “sparkle” of Arizona or OU. To stay in the nation’s Top Ten most of the season, win the ACC tournament and dominate and defeat the nation’s number one ranked team (Temple) to reach the Final Four requires just a bit of “sparkle.” Duke will beat Kansas.

I feel the ultimate championship match-up pits Arizona against Duke. It would be a battle of mental strategy as well as physical prowess. It is a toss-up, but I lean toward Duke to win it all.
