SA election policy will be reviewed
February 23, 1988
A Student Association Internal Affairs subcommittee will check the status of election policies of the SA bylaws tonight at 7 p.m.
The SA Internal Affairs Committee divided itself into two subcommittees to review the election and financial policies listed in the bylaws.
The Internal Affairs Committee is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations concerning SA constitutional amendments. SA Vice President Cam Davis said finance and elections are the two major sections in the bylaws and subcommittees were formed to study whether changes should be made.
The elections section of the bylaws involves voter eligibility, voting districts, candidacy qualifications, campaigns, and election day and general restrictions.
