Like, come on, “Buffy,” give me a break. Give us all, or at least those of us who can chew gum and read The Northern Star at the same time, a break. The allegation that Debra Fleischman’s April 2 commentary was directed at “sorority girls” is clearly the product of an overactive imagination. I happen to be a male who wears Polo, uses female hair care products and enjoys showing off his calves by pulling up his sweat pants (although they are not pink). My only “fault” (if it could be called a fault) is that I am not Greek, but I do admit the lifestyle might have many positive aspects. I enjoyed the commentary and took no offense by it. So, what’s your problem? To me, this seems to be just another example of a person seeing and hearing only what they want to in order to pat themselves on the back.
