Learn about the changing face of sports at the STEM Café

DeKALB — NIU staff will be hosting a discussion on the changing face of sports at next week’s STEM Café.
STEM Café: The Changing Face of Sports Today will be held 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 11 at the Two Brother’s Roundhouse, 205 N. Broadway, Aurora.
The discussion will include topics such as the growth of women’s sports, impact of sophisticated data analytics on training programs and the changing physics of football.
Staff who will attend the discussion are Christina Sutcliffe, softball head coach, Debra Boughton, senior associate athletics director, Lisa Carlsen, women’s basketball head coach, Thomas Hammock, head football coach, and Mike Eads, associate professor of physics.
