The Huskie Food Pantry will open for NIU Students starting Jan. 30. The food pantry is located in the Chick Evans Field House, where there’s a group of volunteers that help with the process of going through the pantry.

To help students worry less, the Huskie Food Pantry provides food and essentials that are generously donated from all around DeKalb, even the NIU Communiversity Gardens. Items such as milk, eggs, meat, cereal, rice, chips, toilet paper and diapers, are there for students who need the helping hand.

The food pantry is open from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
